TRAVEL TO FRANCE
I get to the hostel and am greetd by a VERY nice french lady. Made this hostel very enjoyable. She showed me around and though small, it had a kitchen...OH MY GOD! I can cook my own meal for once. It's probably been about a month, now. You don't understand how much I've wanted my own kitchen. You don't. Well, it's in a very central location and I decide to quickly make some food and just do a quick walk around of the place. I didn't really do too much site seeing in Nice because I just didn't want to see shit anymore. Church this, cathedral that.
The first night, I ended up drinking with these two Germans, Robbie and Florian, and this Norweign girl, who I never really introduced myself to and an irish guy, which i just called Irish. We went to the beach and met up with this girl who was an american who lives in Nice for a while and is going to be living in Lisbon. Hopefully, i can crash at her pad with the two Germans when i go there. So, we just ended up walking down there. Relaxing was great. I had a couple bottles of wine between the 6 of us. It was good to enjoy a nice pasta dish and a HUGE salad. God, i missed that and then, a cheap 2 euro bottle of french wine.. Woo!
TRAVEL TO PORTUGAL
So, i go to Lagos and meet Natalie on the train, she was from seattle. Her and this other canadian from Ottawa were on the train, though, on the way there, i chose the same place to check out as Natalie, so we walked to our respective hostels. Upon getting there, we met two Belguim girls, Delphine and Lorena. Both were from the French speaking part and along with Neel, a guy from Ottawa, we hit the town. Since i got there so late, there wasnt time to check out the beach that day. All i did was go to the super market with Lorena and Natalie and i was able to obtain a 79 cent bottle of wine. OMG, and it was soo good. We did a little bit of predrinking because thats what you do before you go out. We hit a couple bars, the first one being three monkeys. This place was just down the road and it had a board with all the ppl that have done beer bongs. But, what was funny was that the countries on there included, get this...Canada..okay....USA...okay...Ireland...Got ya..Poland, wow....now, under Austria ther was Alaska...Fucken..ALASKA..I pointed it out to the bartender and he goes. Haha, wow, you are the first person to point that out. Well, then, you wanna do a beer bong? and i replied yah, how much....2.50..So, i did a beer bong in a bar for 2.50. And i didnt notice until ater when i tasted it, but the bartender put a shot of vodka in it.
